For the 8th year in a row is CGG inviting female parkour practitioners from all over the world to take part in an amazing weekend of fun and training. The event consists of different workshops at locations in Copenhagen where excellent Street Movement coaches and guests will make you both sweat and laugh.
We aim to challenge experienced practitioners in mind and body and for the non-experienced to get a feeling of parkour and movement in urban spaces. Besides training, we focus on the social aspects and getting to know each other better. Throughout the event we encourage the participants to spend as much time together as possible during breaks, lunch and dinner and whatever free time is available.

So what's the fuss all about...?
We continue to build on the experiences and knowledge we have from previous CGG events and our many years of organizing similar activities. We want to create the best experience possible for everyone and at the same time keeping the cost at a minimum. In this cost/quality dilemma we have cut away the "nice to have" things until we hopefully find funding but keeping the "must have" things in the budget. Also we may still need your help for a few things....
Coaches, Activities & Requirements
We are lining up a group of highly qualified and inspirational coaches for the event as well as a list of carefully planned movement sessions and activities. These will be announced gradually as we get closer to the event and the final details fall into place. Check out the preliminary program at the bottom of the page and keep an eye on updates here on the site and via the CGG facebook page.
There are no requirements to your physical condition and earlier experience with parkour is not necessary.
The minimum age is 16.
We are looking for sponsors to fund some of the meals, but if we don't, we would like to organize picnics were we all bring some nice food to the table.. more about this later.
Accommodations - we always need hosts...
If you live in Copenhagen and would like to host people in your home, please let other people know. This have worked very well before and it is a great way of getting to know each other.
We're trying to get as much out of the available time as possible - also when we simply move from one location to another! Riding a bike is not the only way, but it is by far the easiest, most fun, social and efficient way, to get around Copenhagen.
Rental bikes are cheap and available several places in Copenhagen. Fell free to ask if you can borrow a bike from the locals on the Facebook event.
how you CAN help make the event sustainable...!
CGG is a very low-budget event. Each year we're pulling all strings to make it happen and improve the experience. We are doing what we can to make it a sustainable event that can keep growing in the future - so far we've been lucky to find external funding but it's getting harder every year... We depend on the help of the Copenhagen community to make it possible for everyone to attend - especially internationals who also need to cover travel costs and possibly accommodation.
Please use the Facebook event to organize hosting if you are a local or a foreigner looking for a place to stay during the weekend. The help would be much appreciated and it's a great way to get to know each other and make new friends across borders. <3
